The Tilt and Turn window is ideal where external access for cleaning is restricted and where an outward opening window is not desirable e.g. in the case of a busy pavement.
The Tilt and Turn window opens inwards and has two opening functions:
1. The window frame is bottom hinged and is tilted inwards at the top. This provides ventilation from the top of the window.
2. The window frame is side hinged and opens inwards. This makes it easy to maintain and clean the exterior of the window from inside.
Tilt and Turn windows over 698mm wide x 653mm high are suitable as fire egress rescue openings.
