PATUS^+®, ALDUS^® & Rationel AURAPLUS^®

At Rationel, timber is our passion. We have manufactured timber windows and doors since 1954 and will continue to do so for many years to come. In addition to their natural, beautiful look, windows and doors made of timber have a long service life and are sustainable and easy to clean and maintain. The only disadvantage of windows and doors made entirely of timber is that they have to be painted after a number of years. Sun rays and wind and weather expose the paint to wear, especially on south facades, and windows and doors should therefore be painted approx. every 5 years.

To avoid maintaining windows and doors, Rationel Vinduer has developed several product ranges in timber/composite which minimise the need for maintenance. The constructions consist of an all-timber sash and frame with external aluminium cladding offering protection against the weather. This means that you do not have to paint the exterior of your windows or doors during the life of the products. 　　

Rationel Vinduer offers three product ranges in timber/aluminium: PATUS^+®, ALDUS^® and Rationel AURAPLUS^®.　Each product range has been designed to fit a specific building style.

PATUS⁺ windows and doors

PATUS^+® is a range of energy efficient timber windows and doors with external aluminium cladding attached with clips, ensuring minimum maintenance. The design of PATUS⁺ is particularly suitable for buildings in a classic building style. PATUS+ windows are available in many differnt styles and designs. They are easy to mount and join and are therefore also suitable for complex window solutions in sun lounges, conservatories, bays, etc.

ALDUS windows and doors

ALDUS^® is a range of energy efficient timber windows and doors with external aluminium cladding attached with clips, ensuring minimum maintenance. The design of ALDUS is particularly suitable for modern residential construction and for refurbishing detached houses and terrace houses from the last 30-50 years. ALDUS is available in many different opening functions and designs. The ALDUS product range is easy to mount and join and is therefore also suitable for complex window solutions in sun lounges, conservatories, bays, etc.

Rationel AURAPLUS windows and doors

Rationel AURAPLUS^® is a prize winning range of energy efficient timber windows and doors with external aluminium cladding attached with clips. Rationel AURAPLUS is particularly suitable for Passive Haus and all other types of low-energy buildings. The product range is characterised by unique insulating properties and a unique energy balance (WER). The design is slim and modern, ensuring max. incidence of daylight.
